Each Deployment Comfort Kit is shipped directly to the kids and includes meaningful comfort and connection items—a Cuzzie Bear plush with accessories, a journal to express thoughts and feelings, a greeting card from Comfort Crew, a parent handbook with guidance and resources, access to the Comfort Crew Academy for continued online learning, five postcards to help children stay connected with their deployed parent, and a pair of military dog tags—one for the child and one for the deploying parent—reminding military kids and their families that they are valued, supported, and not alone during deployment.
